Break it into smaller parts
Have you ever tried to eat a whole steak at once? It would be impossible! You need to cut it up into smaller bits so that it is easier to chew and digest. The same is true with Scripture!

Chunking Lamentations 4
My study Bible (ESV Journaling Study Bible) had these four sections chunked for Lamentations chapter 4. 

• Vs 1-10: The suffering of Jerusalem's children
• Vs 11-16: God's punishing of Jerusalem's religious leaders
• Vs 17-20: The power of Jerusalem's enemies
• Vs 21-22: The end of Jerusalem's suffering

How would you chunk up chapter 4? What titles would you give the different sections?  

Chunking Lamentations 2
My study Bible (ESV Journaling Study Bible) had these three sections chunked for Lamentations chapter 2. 

• Vs 1-10: The speaker describes the effects of God's punishment 
• Vs 11-19: A prophetic voice like Jeremiah's grieves the city's losses and counsels her to cry out to God
• Vs 20-22: Jerusalem again asks God to see what she has suffered and to act on her behalf
